The Cactus is our collection of handmade hi-fi cabinets with vinyl record storage. It brings your turntable, hi-fi equipment and favourite records together, with record storage on either side and a choice of finishes to suit your room.
Your colour, your choice. Choose from the full Farrow & Ball colour range, or tell us the colour you have in mind. We can accommodate almost any colour to suit your home. Veri Peri and Pure White, shown below, are just two examples.

The same family. The same workshop.
Genus Hi-Fi is the specialist hi-fi furniture brand of Neil Bespoke Furniture. Its roots go back to 1960, when my father began making hi-fi and television cabinets. His designs still inspire the pieces I make today.
Every piece is made by hand in our workshop near York, Yorkshire. That family approach to cabinetmaking lives on in Genus: distinctive furniture with music at its heart.

A record collection is personal. So is the space where you listen. Genus brings the two together, giving turntables, hi-fi equipment and vinyl a place in everyday life.
From the wide proportions of a record cabinet to the side storage of The Cactus, each design makes room for music while bringing its own character to the room.
Colour, shape and the details of the cabinetmaking are all part of that character. It’s furniture to enjoy looking at as much as the records you choose to play.
